Rob Kennard on Souls of Mischief
Dan Kennard continued his good form, (see below) of late, with an ascent of the project in the 'Lunacy Booth' cave at Winspit. 'Souls of Mischief ', features powerful and bouldery climbing over the main roof, which requires some inventive footwork! Bolted several years ago by Matt King, who graciously gave his permission, this route is certain to see further ascents as it represents one of the most 'in-condition' hard climbs in Dorset.
In other news at Winspit, Scott Titt has added a new route in the corner to the right of Pump Me Tenderly, called "Anne-Marie Paid My Fee", at 4+.
In addition, the Lunacy Booth Cave area has seen a couple of link-ups completed, with Jimbo Kimber climbing 'Disbelief Direct', and Pete Oxley climbing a link-up of Lunacy Booth and Souls of Mischief, Both at F7c+. See the Directory for more info>>
